Ireland Wadokai Karate-Do Renmei
Ireland Wadokai Karate-Do Renmei (IWKR) is the Irish headquarters for the Federation of Wadokai Europe (FWE) and therefore holds the mandate for the Wado Europeans and World Championships. The IWKR is run by Sensei Tommy Marrett 4th Dan, under the technical direction of the Federation of Wadokai Europe vice president and technical Committee member Sensei Barry Wilkinson 7th Dan.
Dundalk Karate
Blackrock Wadokai has been teaching traditional karate in Dundalk for 26 years, producing many national, European and World Champions. The club trains every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9pm in the Blackrock Community Centre beside the football field.
Tallanstown Wadokai club just outside of Ardee, train every friday from 6-8pm in the Glyde Rangers hall and Dromintee Wadokai train every Monday and Wednesday from 6.30-8.30pm in the local community centre. The DKIT Wadokai club trains every Monday from 1-2pm and every Friday from 3-4pm in the Dundalk Institute of Technology.
Irish International Karate Championships 2016
The 12th annual Irish International Karate Championships will be held on the 9 April in Ardee Community Centre. All new design of medals this year and we are looking forward to seeing you all there. Click on event in right column and open Google Maps for directions.
